“Don’t Be Greedy/Don’t Be A Wanker.”

Two instructions. Both obvious. Both apparently necessary. Don’t Be Greedy — written approximately 2,500 times in pink ink against white. Don’t Be A Wanker — written approximately 2,300 times in blue ink against white. Soft colors. Almost innocent. The palette of a children’s book delivering instructions so simple, so fundamental, that the fact we still need to be told them is either deeply funny or quietly devastating depending on the day.

Physically interleaved on the page, the two phrases become a single text — a complete and sufficient guide to being a decent human being. Take only what you need. Don’t be an idiot about it. That’s it. That’s the whole thing. The piece is cheeky. It is also completely serious. The two are not in conflict.
